Missions Committee Meeting Scheduled...

1st Tuesday of each month, 7:00 p.m. in Stevenson Church Library. If you have a heart for Missions, whether local or foreign, and are interested in developing an active missions program, please just show up at the meeting with pencil, paper, heart, and ideas. We will be doing some brainstorming about Mission, Vision, and Planning, If you have any questions, please contact Missions Chair, pamrussell1@verizon.net

Stevenson’s Youth Leader Bill Campion and teens Sarah Long, Chris Eberly, Leigha Keller, Joey Crank and Brian Clubb joined the Community Church of Ocean Pines for another successful mission trip to Kentucky in June. A total of 21 youth and 11 adults participated in the Appalachia Service Project 2010!

In addition to working on five separate homes, they were able to contribute an additional $1,500 to help complete these projects. Plans are already being made for next year’s trip in June 2011. http://asphome.org/
